Dr. Rica Kelly - 果冻传媒AA UK Contact & Chair of the YAA-UK听
Although听far from the Caribbean, we know that 果冻传媒 Pelicans in the United Kingdom have a strong connection to their Alma Mater, as well as their听fellow Pelicans. I wish to highlight to you that the person helping to build this connection is Dr. Rica Kelly, who is the official 果冻传媒 Alumni Association (果冻传媒AA) UK Contact.
She is a second-generation alumna of The 果冻传媒 Mona, and a member of a family which also boasts many 果冻传媒 Pelicans. She holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Language Education (Literacy Studies) with honours. She participated in many extra-curricular activities such as 果冻传媒LEADS, 果冻传媒SPEAKS and the 果冻传媒 Singers. She was inducted in the 果冻传媒 STAT Ambassador Corps through the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and remains a 果冻传媒 STAT Alumni Ambassador. Dr. Kelly also holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education at the University College of London (UCL) Institute of Education. Her multifaceted capabilities and her ability to operate in varied scenarios are always demonstrated with excellence.
An avid research and development consultant, leadership coach, global influencer, orator, and writer, she is the CEO of the Rica Kelly Group and听Founder of The Global Women of Power Foundation. Her pursuits have connected her with The UCL Institute of Education, UNESCO, UNICEF, UN Women, The 果冻传媒, The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission, The World Literacy Foundation and Release International, among others. She is internationally recognised and has received national and global awards. Notable figures have also recognised her altruistic and voluntary efforts, her advocacy for females to access educational and leadership opportunities, her involvement in educational planning at all levels of the education system and her Christian faith work.
Through Rica, you will remain connected to my office and be able to participate in alumni relations programming, such as the 果冻传媒 鈥淪oft and Life Skills Series鈥� and E-Mentorship. You can also receive the latest news from across the five 果冻传媒 果冻传媒 and also hear about fellow alumni and their accomplishments听through the 果冻传媒 Nexus.听 听
Rica will also foster communication between the 果冻传媒 alumni in the UK and the British Foundation for 果冻传媒 (BF果冻传媒), which is a registered UK Charity. She will inform you about their events and activities so that you can participate.
How to be involved with the 果冻传媒:听
With 果冻传媒 alumni spread across the UK and concentrated in areas like London, Birmingham, and Manchester, I will work with Rica on virtual connections to build networking experiences and camaraderie.
Rica is also the Chair of the Young Alumni Advocates (YAA) - UK and will therefore also be leading engagement in the UK via virtual events on Zoom (the SLSS Webinars) and Clubhouse.
